Your Executive Committee and members of the union council are there to learn about your rights and obligations. When your rights are violated, they are there to support you and represent you before the employer. Do you know that the collective agreement only gives you thirty days to file a grievance? If you know that an injustice has been committed against you and you miss this deadline, your union will probably no longer exercise legal recourse.
The relevant documentation about your rights and obligations:
- National collective agreement 2015-2020 (in French only…for the moment)
- Local provisions of the collective agreement
