At last! The new hourly rates of pay will be applied no later than July 22. When the agreement in principle was adopted, it was established that the new wages would be applied no later than 45 days after the signing, which took place on June 9. This means that everyone will see their basic hourly wage increase by 8.8%.

You will still have to receive 6% retroactivity on your earnings between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024, and 8.8% retroactivity for the period from April 1, 2024 to June 15, 2024.

Pay equity retroactivity will be paid this fall.

It was your participation in the strike and demonstrations that enabled us to force the CAQ to almost double its wage offer (from 9% to 17.4%) and settle pay equity complaints dating back to 2010.

We’re going to need your participation in our actions and mobilizations, which will be absolutely crucial in preventing the CAQ from privatizing entire sectors and services of our healthcare services.
